Creative DIY - How to Turn a Vine Bottle into a Beautiful Flower Vase!

DIY Flower Vase/ Vine Bottle DIY/Home Decor DIY

We all have plenty of juice and vine bottles coming to our homes and then going to the trash. These bottles are not just worth going to trash but can be very useful and beautiful decoration pieces of our homes. If you have some free time and a creative desire to do something at home, then these empty bottles can be the best freely available material at your home to show your creativity. These bottles can also be good craftwork for your little ones. So, don't miss this opportunity for a creative DIY trial for your kids. I also did this work with my daughter, and we both enjoyed it a lot.😊👍
So let's try this vine bottle DIY at home that fits perfectly for many kinds of home decor places, such as your balcony/patio corner, study table, or your drawing area showcase.

    Let's Get Started

Pre-requisites

  •  Clean the bottle properly and let it dry.

Material Required/Tools

  • 👉An empty bottle🍾
  • 👉Acrylic painting colors🎨
  • 👉Brushes🖌🖌, at least one for painting background, and another for details/designs
  • 👉and some of your free time 😊

Approach

  • Follow the step-wise approach depicted in the images, or
  • Go with painting the bottle with a base color first, and design it with your creativity.

STEP-1:

Take your acrylic colors, and check their consistency by using your brush and paint and applying it to the bottle. If it works then you are good to go, else you can use minimal water to go ahead. Test all the colors first, and see how they look on the bottle before starting the planned design. Remove the tested paints on the bottle before it gets dry.

STEP-2:

Think of the design you are going to paint on the bottle. Depending on the color of the bottle start with the base color coating first. I painted a white square as shown in the image below. later, I painted two more squares left and right sides of the white square, leaving some blank space in between.

STEP-3:

Let the base colors dry first before designing it with other colors on top. (I drew faces to all the squares). Also, you can do outlining of the planned design and fill in the colors later. Vaani drew leaves with black paint. Later, we filled in the leaves with silver and golden colors.

STEP-4:

Show your own creativity, and draw things like circles, triangles, multicolor spots, or anything you like. Complete the work and let it dry.

STEP-5:

Decorate it in your showcase, or put some flowers in it and use it as a flower vase. You have a beautiful home decor item created on your own. You can have multiple bottles like these with different colors and painting ideas. Make your own collection, or just enjoy this activity with your children to enhance their creativity.
