Discover the Secret to a Joyful Life: Kabir's Timeless Wisdom on Staying Neutral

Image
Secret of a Joyful Life: Staying Neutral कबिरा खड़ा बजार में, मांगे सबकी खैर। ना काहू से दोस्ती, ना काहू से बैर ।। These lines by  Sant Kabir  ( a well-known Indian  mystic   poet  ) are trying to tell a secret about an easier and more joyful life. It simply means stay Neutral. Whenever you hate or love someone or in extremes your mind gets disturbed. Then those feelings of attachment or hate start chasing you. You start losing your inner peace and tranquility. So, whenever you go to any of these extremes, you get stuck with an emotional mesh. Anyone who learns to live neutral in life under any circumstances will never get disturbed mentally. Their mind will never torture them. Or say no external things can make you down. You can train your mind to take out a neutral meaning of all situations or about the act of any person. Then you are going to enjoy a free mind. A mind that is not entangled with materialistic things. You are required to train your mind wit...

Drawings by Children in Art Class - Easy Drawing Ideas

Image
Benefits of Art and Creativity for Children from Art Classes  After facilitating free art classes for kids for around two months, I am so happy. I never expected that Art would be so much appreciated by kids.  I know we all think it's fun for kids, but believe me, I can see much more than that in children. I have noticed some apparent changes in their behavior.  Different kids have different natures but still, few behaviors are taken from the environment they live in and from the people they meet. So behavior keeps changing. That's the reason I felt like sharing this post with you all. Here we go with some major things I noticed in them: 1. Focus and Concentration:  I remember a girl in my class, who was a bit cranky on her first day and was not able to focus on instructions and work properly. She kept talking most of the time rather than focusing on what we were drawing. But after 2,3 classes only, I noticed that she is more focused than before following the instruc...

Unconditional Mother's Love: A Real Story of a Goose

Image
Unconditional Mother's Love In this post I want to share an experience that somehow touched me. Being a mother, it's something I can really identify with.   It was the time when we were living in an apartment in Indianapolis. Winter was soon upon us. It was actually getting closer to zero degrees. Winter had caused my patio area to become a little chaotic, and all the flowers and vegetables I had been growing had nearly completely dried up.  I barely opened my patio side door because it wasn't very pleasant outside. One early morning, I noticed some sunshine and decided to spend some quality time with my two girls. I therefore discovered a goose hatching eggs when I lifted my curtains. I was overjoyed to see it in.    I told this to both my daughters, and they were absolutely thrilled about having them at home. From that very day, we began looking after her as if she was a cherished pet. Both my daughters made it a daily routine to feed her and spend hours watch...

My Daughter's Kindergarten Completion Journey

Image
A Corona Time Journey from Kindergarten to First Grade!  It's the first time in history when kids like you attended an online school Dear Vaani,  This letter is about a special day of your childhood. Not only you, but I am also very excited to see you getting your kindergarten completion certificate from your school( JGKA ). This moment was a bit special because all this year you learned through online classes. Though you got very few chances to personally meet your teachers, you loved them a lot!  There were many days of hard work to reach this milestone, especially when there is no real classroom, school friends, and teachers present physically.  I remember that your playful nature had sometimes given me hard time while conducting your online classes. It took months for me to make your routine to do all your assignment by yourself. I can understand that there was no real school fun. But, like all other kids of your age, you also did your job done. Your whole kinde...

But today is a bit special day for me, I think these moments come in every mother's life. It's the 5th of Aug 2019, it's is your first day of school, and I am very excited to know about your first-day experience. Maybe when you'll grow up, and read this letter, you might never know many things about your awesome early childhood. Maybe, you'll come to know the stories about how naughty you were in your lullaby days, and how tough it was for me, to handle you for these 4 years and 8 months before you started going to school. But I will surely tell you that it was a quite fantastic time for me to nurture you being a mother and as the first teacher of your life. I fed you, cleaned you, played with you till the last moment I had energy in my body, and taught you the starting lessons of lif...
